Hey everyone. Sorry for just disappearing...it has been a crazy past few months here. I am no longer going to be able to run AFS. If anyone is wanting to revive it I would be more than happy to help you, I just do not have the time to man it myself. Who are the Artfire Sneakers?
After chatting with some friends about wanting to purchase from Artfire sellers that had yet to receive many sales, but still remained positive, we decided to get a group together to try and bring sales and exposure to different Artfire sellers each week. Every Tuesday at 8pm CST the "Un-sub" will be announced and then everyone who is able to will go and purchase from their studio and/or promote their shop(you do not have to be a member of the ning to participate--see all the ways you can participate below).

How do I participate?
After the un-sub is announced there are 2 ways to participate:

∙Purchase an item from the un-sub's studio

∙Promote the un-sub's studio

NOTE: You do not have to be a member to participate--the ning is more of just a hangout for everyone and a place to post updates! Also members do not have to participate in each event, just those you are able to.

How is the un-sub chosen?>
Each week a different member of the council will be selected as the designated sneaker(they will be chosen in order of when they joined the council--at this time we are not taking new council members). When searching for an un-sub the designated sneaker will be looking for:

∙A Verified Artfire member that has been on Artfire for more than 2 months

∙Has 2 or more pages of products in their studio

∙Studio is fully set up (avatar, banner, bio, etc. basically it needs to appear that they plan on sticking around)

∙Has a decent price range, preferably with a few items under $10 (we will occasionally have an un-sub with higher priced items to make it fair to all potential un-subs, but we need to have studios with wide price ranges so that everyone can participate).

∙Shop genre will need to be different than the 3 prior un-subs shop(i.e. if a jewelry shop is selected this week, a jewelry shop can not be picked the next week).

∙Has 3 or less sales.
